COVID-19 Policy
We encourage each volunteer to consider their vaccination status and CDC - COVID 19 Risk Factors when deciding whether to volunteer.

Of particular note:

Masks / face coverings are recommended but not required for indoor locations.

If you have been recently exposed to someone who has tested positive with COVID or have recently tested positive we ask that they reach out to erin@habitatwaukesha.org to discuss our protocols further before volunteering.

All volunteers, staff, AmeriCorps, and partner families should stay home if they are sick.

If within 10 days of you volunteering with Habitat you test positive or are exposed to someone who tests positive. We ask that you share that information with the volunteer manager at erin@habitatwaukesha.org.
If you have been exposed

You do not need to quarantine regardless of your vaccination status

Monitor your symptoms for 10 days

The CDC recommends you wear a mask around others for 10 days

If you develop symptoms, please follow the guidelines below
If you feel sick

Stay home and rest

Contact your primary care physician, if you feel that is necessary
